Patricia received her Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana. She has been in practice for over three decades. She is licensed in five states (Illinois, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada), but only actively licensed in New Mexico.
She spent her legal career in general practice, assisting the small person – working through the legal maze of setting up or running a small business, estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney), real estate transactions, guardianships/conservatorships, probate proceedings, adoptions and collections. She has extensive experience in business law, estate planning, adoptions, real estate, estate planning and collections law.
Patricia has been active involved in the Farmington community since 1998. She served 12 years on the City of Farmington Planning and Zoning Commission and currently serves on the Citizen Police Advisory Committee for the City of Farmington. She served on the committee to formulate the 2020 Vision Plan for the City of Farmington and the committee to revise the Planning and Zoning Ordinances for the City of Farmington. Patricia is President of the Board for Northwest New Mexico Sexual Assault Services and serves on the Board for Leadership San Juan Alumni Association.
Patricia is an avid runner, regularly participating in multiple local 5k, 10k and half-marathon annual events. She also enjoys CrossFit, camping, hiking, reading and spending time with her family and dogs.
